Training for Teachers and Staff

First aid can save lives and help prevent minor injuries becoming far more serious. Health and Safety legislation requires employers to ensure that there are adequate and appropriate equipment and facilities for providing first aid in the workplace.

Current Health and safety legislation places duties on employers for the health and safety of their employees and anyone on their premises. In schools this includes teachers, non teaching staff, pupils and visitors.

To help your school prepare for an accident or emergency we have a number of courses that can help protect staff and pupils.

Schools First Aid

Teachers are often the first on the scene of an accident at school. This course teaches essential lifesaving first aid skills to anyone who works with children. First Aid at Work

Make sure you have fully qualified first aiders at school. This Health and Safety Executive (HSE) recognised course provides the practical skills required, along with the confidence to deal with real life emergencies.  For more information or to book your place on a course, click here.

Emergency First Aid at Work

This one day short course provides a great back up to your fully qualified first aider and can provide essential cover if a first aider is off sick. This course teaches you all the basics of how to deal with an emergency situation. For more information or to book a place on a course, click here.

Fire Marshal
